Visit to Good Shepherd Orphanage, Abangoh with FRICODA
At BeLA, we are dedicated to fostering community development and spreading friendship. That's why we are thrilled to share the success of our recent collaboration with FRICODA on a meaningful outreach initiative to the Good Shepherd Orphanage in Abangoh, Bamenda.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, we embarked on a journey filled with anticipation and determination to make a positive impact in the lives of the children at the orphanage. Together with FRICODA, we brought essential supplies such as blankets, mosquito nets, buckets, bathing utensils, bags of rice, cartons of soap, and more. Each item carried with it a symbol of hope for those in need.
As we arrived at the orphanage, we were greeted by the resilient spirits of the children, whose smiles illuminated the surroundings with warmth and resilience. Setting up distribution stations, we made sure that every child received the necessary provisions. However, our mission went beyond mere material assistance.
We engaged with the children, listening to their stories, sharing laughter, and playing games together. In those moments, bonds of friendship were formed, transcending the barriers of circumstance and adversity. The communal meal we shared further strengthened these connections, reminding us of the power of unity and solidarity in fostering positive change.
